So, in the last installment of will this quarantine ever end you heard that nearly half of my squad had tested positive for covid. Luckily, most of them had milder symptoms or did not have symptoms at all. Praise the Lord that nobody has developed symptoms that require a doctor’s visit or a hospital stay. I am also happy to report that My teammate and I that were quarantined in the windowless room were set free! After another set of negative tests we were relocated to a different location joining a few other squad mates that had been relocated a week earlier.

I am beyond relieved that we were moved to a place that allows us to explore this beautiful city. This also means we get to start doing ministry with our ministry partner here in Craiova. We will also be evangelizing to the locals here and building relationships that will last beyond the time we are here. I have never thought of myself as an evangelist and I still don’t but, I know that the Lord has been using me in this ministry in the past week. God is so good, and even though this month has not looked like what we all had expected we know that he is still in control and has us in his hands.

We have been helping in the office of our ministry partner and then we have been evangelizing or helping the youth ministry in various ways over the past week. It has been eye opening to see this community and how the Lord was already working here before we arrived. I know that the Lord was here far before we arrived and will be here long after we leave and he is just using us to help support the ministry already at work in this unique community. I have also learned so much about this community over the past week and I am so excited to learn even more over the rest of our time here.
